Well lets have it again, what would a CM section be without it? :lash:
It's very obvious that CM has to choose carefully what projects to take on since they have so few, and that's what makes it hard to come up with the nitty-gritty.
Personally I think Legolas is just wrong, but what could be a better replacement? And what female CM would make sense (I'm hardly pressed to come up with one)?

    My first take.
I think a Charlie Sheen as Captain Willard would be a great choice and I sure as hell would buy it:

I completely agree with you on the Legolas choice,Lars.Aragorn and Gandalf are obvious great choices as leading and LOTR representative characters.Although he does have a lot of screen time in the trilogy, he still remains a side character, just like Gimli,Boromir,Faramir,Merry& Pippin& Sam.IMO I can only see one character that could represent the world of LOTR and deserves to have a CM treatment as a third and last choice and that is Frodo.
No females would make sense!...except Rosie! :naughty:

    Second choice:The Daywalker!!
I would prefer the following pose:Blade that is looking down(with glasses), his weapon arm stretched out,
the tip of his sword touching the ground.I would call it the "anticipation for things to come" pose.Very representative for his character IMO

Well, I would agree on Maximus, and Blade. Though CM would need a Marvel license in the case of the latter. Benjamin Willard would be marvellous as well. Though I have to say out of those three, Maximus is the most likely.
I want to see CM do some female characters soon. I would imagine the Bride or Ripley make obvious choices, and probably good sellers. The Bride in Yellow jumpsuit, or leather jacket from the scene where she takes on Vernita at the sart of Part I would be great. If CM wanted to go all out, they could put Uma in a wedding dress with samurai sword from the Theatrical Release poster for Part II. No Pei Mei though, because it reminds me too much of bruceb.
As for Ripley. I would love this piece. Two silicone heads are better than one!

And I have said it before: Peter Venkman, Virgil Hilts (with motorcycle) need the treatment. James bond would be good. Sean Connery seems the obvious choice. Though personally I prefer Daniel Craig. But that's a whole different argument.
I am hoping that CM skip on Scarface and Legolas now, and opt for some of the choices we have mentioned in this thread.

Anyone come up with more female candidates apart from Ripley or the Bride?

How about Selene (Kate Beckinsale) and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss.)

Trinity would be good. A matrix license would be needed, but I am still on the fence as to whether the Matrix will ever be popular like it once was.
I am sure my opinion will change once the blu rays are out.

Nope, apart from Ripley,Selene and the Bride,I can not see any other female characters who deserves to be immortalized by CM...except catwoman(Berry)...muahhahahahaha :naughty:
Well,I doubt Trinity would even be condsidered if CM produces only one or two Matrix statues. She still remains a side character...Would be like the Legolas of the Matrix licence...
The obvious choice would be Neo and Mr Smith. But then again,if CM would do 3 Matrix pieces, what I seriously doubt, then maybe we would get a Trinity.
Wasn't there a rumor going on about CM acquiring the Matrix licence?Or is it just what it is...a rumor? :hmm:

What I've just came to realise ,is that CM-until today- never has produced 2 characters of a particular licence.3 Terminator pieces,3 LOTR pieces(normally),1 Indy piece,1 Godfather piece ,1 POTC piece,1 Preddie piece,1 Alien piece.
I guess they don't like even numbers... :hmm:
So,logically, for a Matrix licence we could have or Neo... or Neo/Smith/Trinity!

If Cinemaquette were to make three, I'd rather see Neo, Morpheus and Trinity.

I'm pretty sure we'll see a Scarface and I think I'd be inclined to buy it. Al Pacino certainly has to be considered as a CM in one incarnation or the other.
Female CM's... I can think of some actresses I would like to see but nothing recognizable enough I fear. Give me some time, I might remember some eventually.

I can think of iconic female actresses. But I can't think of iconic female characters. There is the Bride, Ripley, Trinity, Princess Leia, Catwoman (Burton version), Jamie Lee from Halloween, and ummm... Kathy Bates from Misery.
I would think Morpheous, Neo and Trinity would be likely candidates for the Matrix-CM deal. Morpheous would be especially good because as yet CM have not produced any maquettes of Black actors. Bruce Lee is there first venture in to non-white characters. Unless you count the Alien. Certainly non-caucasian.
    Robocop would be great also.
I would buy a Scarface, but would prefer Ripley first. CM have a 20th century fox license already. What license is Scarface??
