Asaka is, as always, a fair bet for early pics. I'm looking very much forward to this one.
Bruce would be great around Christmas for me personally.

I don't remember where I read it but it stated that it would be possible to preorder
Bruce Lee in a couple of months.

So the Don is 2k along with Indy and the Predator.
Eurozone retailers need to get a clue, the price increase is absolutely unjustified.

This comes out at exactly £1399. The pound is now down to just 1.42 against the dollar. A year ago, the exchange rate would have brought this in for around £1000.
LArs - with this news I would say that we are looking at $2000 for Bruce Lee, and a £1400-1500 price point over here in the UK.

I think I saw this somewhere as well come to mention it. But I didn't pay much attention to it at the time because CM always say "it will be available in a couple of months"

    That's why I said Eurozone :D

There is no justification to price Bruce at 2k$ if you ask me, but you might of course be right.

Darn site admin now extends his powers to creating new sub-continental trading areas.
When you say "Eurozone", I take it you mean the areas where the Euro is used? Sorry I am being slow.
I do find it strange that you can still purchase a freshly produced complex maquette such as Jack from CM at $1750, whilst you have to pay $2000 (probably) for Bruce Lee. There cab be little, or no, difference in either the raw materials or manufacturing cost. It is the one oddity of their production process I have never gotten my head around. Factor in the lack of royalty payment to a Hollywood star in the way of a signature and you have a very interesting pricing policy.

Yeah, Eurozone as opposed to EU. :naughty:
A big german retailer whose identity shall be unspoken eMailed me that he can't reduce the price of a certain CM from his asking price of 1900EUR because he'd make A LOSS. But he agreed to give me a discount of 100EUR if I'd come and pick it up in person.
These greedy bastards need to learn their lesson and I hope to remember his kind gesture in half a year when the slump has tightened it's grip on the domestic economy. Bunch of hypocrites all of them.

I think the Don's price was justified with the chair as was the Pred with, uhmm, him being the monument he is. Lee should be less again by all logical means.

Judging by the lack of announcement I would guess probably just the sculptor. CM are normally pretty vocal when it comes to name-dropping celeb involvement, so the lack of anything speaks volumes.
