OK new pics with the t800, Now I know the lighting is less than to be desired but it is all I have for now and did my best with it, and the alien and pred stands are very temporary, I will be having custom made peds for them very soon... but you get the idea...

I have done something a little different here guys a little expierement if you will.... since soem of you are making bases for GF, i have tried to go the other way, although I will not be keeping it like this (because I like uniformity) and i am not able to do it with every pieve, just he human CM's however it does look pretty cool..
I have removed the base from my human CM's, I liked the way that the GF looked on the marble, so I drilled a hole in each pedestal to fit the pegs from the individual human Cm,,, the bases were removed and the pieces are directly on the marble peds as oposed to the bases,, it looks really good with the GF because of his lack of base,,, they def look like they go together more than before,,,, But I do love the bases and the nameplates so I will be returning them back to the bases soon enough,, I guess I just want ted to see how it looked, now if I could manage to get the alien off of his base, and if the t800 and the pred didnt need one to stand or supes for that matter as well, I think I might of gone with this look throughout my collection, but because of the uniformity I really am not happy having some with bases and nameplates some without...
You will get the idea when I shoot some pics to post, and I will as soon as my wife gets home with my camera...

This sounds like a really innovative idea Enz. I don't think anyone has tried this before.
I'm really keen to see the photos.
How would you deal with the Predator though? :hmm:

Like I said the pred the alien and the t800 and I am thinkin supes as well will have to remain on the bases, there is just no way to make them work with out the bases, therefore i will be puting all the bases back cause I really want them all to be the same... but it does look pretty cool all the humans on the same plain, looks more realistic to me...

WOW ENZO they really do look cool like that, its like little people just chilling and some ready for battle , istead of them looking like statues on a base very cool i like it too bad as you said all the other ones need the base to stand up with

Yep, that about sums it up for me.
I have to say I wasn't sure about this, but actually for some reason when I look at the pictures I see more realism without the bases to remind me it's a statue - even a very lifelike statue.

thats exactly the impression in person guys, really makes them look like little humans without the bases... to me it has much more impact then with the bases.....
So you were just humoring me then Jet when you said it was a cool idea, JK

Well Enz I think I said it was 'innovative', :D
And it is, it's a really interesting way to display them. But y'know those bases look so damn cool, so I just wasn't sure how they would display without them.
When I see the human pieces displayed like that the GF looks more natural in comparison. Which is why I am starting to believe he really needs a base to be display alongside the others normally.

I know my friend I am just messing with you :D
Yes, I agree about the base on Gf and because I cannot get the other Cm without the bases I will need one as well for GF, hopefully Raf will help me out with that.... To be displayed together they most def need to be all with or all with out... IMO
