I actually think George Lucas is constantly striving to out-do James Cameron. With TPM I think one of his primamry concerns was beating the box-office on Titanic; with the 3D re-dos it's probably Avatar, though I doubt even the combined takings for all six SW 3D movies will even come close to Avatar's numbers.

I don't intend watching the prequels in 3D, though I might go see ANH out of curisoty, and just because it always looks good on the big screen - 3D or not.

Ultimately it's a post-conversion job of a series of films that were never intended as 3D productions to begin with. My expectations are therefore very, very low.

Yes the detail is astounding. Lots of things for the eye to find that directly references back to the film.

Just so the gao is closed a little, but not that alters the ability to see the detail.

This will be one of those things you'll be best placed to figure out once you have the components in frot of you I think. Once you can see how different gaps look in person I'm sure you'll build something that looks awesome.

Are there any people here who are actually going to spend time and money on this crapfest? Wait so you mean like having the bucket closer to the face mask as to almost being put on?, this may mean you will have a bit of trouble seeing the detail on top of face mask, that is why I also put the bucket a bit towards the back

Yes Raf that's it, just a bit higher, and by that I mean closer to the upper part (the bucket), so that the overall height of the whole stand stays the same.

That can be done , and will be a lot better once in hand , don't want to make it to where the top helmet would cover up the saber once put on that circle .

In terms of internal construction, this is exactly how I envisaged it. Perhaps the bottom layer could be just a tad higher though?

Why not use the circular grey piece that's built into the front corner of the base on the left side (as you look at it) as a template for the size of the stand's base? If the base of the stand were the same size/colour as that circle, the stand would almost look to be part of the base.

Ok guys so here is the concept photoshoped , what do you think, the hight can be changed , and i usded the base from the riddell took off the little circle but sujestions welcomed on the bottom part of base or what ever else you can think of . this will happen once i get the vader so i can then work with it.

yeah tim i saw that when it was too late i really like the look with all the wood and stuff , i had even posted asking if anyone wanted to get rid of theirs , and then i saw all these other ones that i felt were way too big, but now with this kill shark , im really liking the realistic look to the great white , im sure i will bite in the next month. if not sooner, yeah its big but i will figure something out, your bruce looks like the one in the pics you put up, it looks awesome

I was one who said why would you remake spiderman , I loved the first two , and then when I saw the new suit on the new remake of amazing spiderman I was like wtf, but have to say holy shit , Im Actually excited to see this new one looks pretty ! It also was the most lazy 'remake' ever, almost literally a shot-for-shot replica of the Spanish original. [REC2] is also very good.

You also need to check out 'Das Experiment', the original German version! Great great movie. There's also a Hollywood remake (ofcourse... <img src="http://www.chocolatebydeath.com/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/suspicious.gif" title=":suspicious:" class="bb_smilies" /> ) with Lawrence Fishburne, but that one is inferior.

Ok so just when I think I'm Done with my collecting , except for cms, this comes up, boy have to say I'm a big fan of gorillas and great white sharks , and yes these same people make jaws aka Bruce,, but to me if I wanted to represent jaws, I don't want a screen accurate great white, in this one , I want Bruce to look like a real great white , and this one is pretty damn close , but it's huge , anyway check out the website and check them out , it's actually cheaper then this site here , boy if it wasn't for vader , and the gizmo I had to pay the balance for I would buy this , but will have to wait
