Congrats Raf!!! Thanks for all the pics and impressions.
Is it fair to say that the new base is noticeably more compact than the standard base?
Any side by side pics of both your Aliens to compare the detail, the lean and the looks with both bases? Any noticeable differences in the dome?

Thanks for posting the pics and your impression Raf. The AP Base looks much better than what we have seen so far. The letters on the base seem to be more prominent as well. Great score bud! :top:

I am very impressed by your pics RAF.. Very cool base. Looks better than the pics we got from George.. As steve mentioned I think the natural light really helps.. I also think the alien itself looks better than my older one.. Thank RAF for posting.. I am really looking forward to thurs.

Judging by Raf's pictures it seems the Alien has some lean... :hmm:

    Congrats Raf, nice shots, too.
My new life-task will be to reassemble all owners with their respective AP's in one photograph. :geek:

The AP Alien's head looks a lot like the one i have:
Just a bit of black mist along the bottom edge, not obscuring the skull. The AP has some more mist, but just enough to not hide the sculpt behind it.

I really like the new base!
Raf will you be doing the same modifications to the dome and also adding the drool?

I don't think I will do anything to dome as I like that you can see the sockets , the drool I think I will eventually :top:

I like the new base but not the new Alien nameplate in front. I prefer more of a museum type of nameplate like with the original.
COngrats Raf and everyone else who got it. Now the big question, does it lean? :)

I think you will have a better chance than the guy over at S&F who is searching for the 36 owners of the Bronze Gandalf statue...,lol
