No idea if this one will ever be available. Heck knows I've sent enough emails to BruceLee.com about it to earn it for free through perseverance. :ironyfinger: :lee:

I think the closest we ever came to it was Jeff's contact with the BL.com webmaster, but whatever plans there were to sell through the site ultimately turned into an auction at a BL event where the piece failed to sell. And then... nothing.
It's interesting to review this one on down the line. I have to say I'd be a little more inclined to see this outfit in my collection these days - if only for the bright colours and limitation.
On viewing now I'm pretty sure the waist appears thin because of the black bands running up either side of the suit - creating the illusion there is less fabric than there really is.. What do you guys think?
Oh and question for Tim about the picture below from your friend Eric. To the best of my knowledge it is the only picture online where all of the text on that ad board beside Bruce is visible. The last line - I can read as far as "Featuring Bruce Lee's iconic yellow jumpsuit with..." and that's it.
Tim do you still have the original photo file and if so can you read the rest of the last line of text? :thank:

I do see the black stripe making it a bit thinner but in reality it is too thin IMO I think if the suit would be a bit loose around the waist as it is in the movie it would work best , seems to me this material is almost spandex type as oppose to original seems less stretchy , and more orange in color.

I agree Otto. It would have been interesting if CM released both of them and took orders for each one before production.

If they went for another 500 Bruce Lees in GOD outfit, I wish they did something with the nun chucks, bamboo stick or just a different hand gesture. The body sculpt of course would have to be completely different.

I don't see this one going back into production though - if it ever shows up it will be as the highly limited AP I'm sure.

It is too thin and was available via the Bruce Lee official site if you emailed them about it. At least it was offered to me at $3,000 but passed on it. Just not a big enough fan. The remainder were sold at that charity auction, just not sure what price.

    Hi Jeff,
We should receive them to our office some time next week. Looks like only 5 will be made available. The cost will be $3,000 / per with the proceeds going to the Bruce Lee Foundation.
One has been slated for you if you want it.
    Thanks,

    :thank:
The piece auctioned at BL's 70th Birthday Celebration last November had a reserve of $3,500 and failed to sell. The listing for the auction said it as a one time only offer and no others would ever be made available to the public.
Either they never had five, or they all sold out through private contacts before they made the site. Any emails I send to BL.com shop about this just go unanswered.

Yeah it's quite obvious that the body sculpt was never intended for it to wear Spandex. :|

Has anyone here lifted up the clothing of the regular release to inspect the sculpt? Raf? Thoughts?

I think the main issue is that everything about the piece has an Enter The Dragon feel. A new sculpt and base that say GOD would be needed.

I see why the waist is so narrow. That sach/belt bulks it up.

And I guess wrapping something around the waist to bulk it out comes at the expense of the muscle definition? :hmm:
