Ok so here I primed , then used flat black, and then went in with the clear gloss , later comes the chrome paint .

Raf,was it difficult to remove the cape?I thought it is was fixed underneath the resin.
Such a beautifull ,detailed sculpt but still not completely sold on the pose. Not everything translates that well from 2D into 3D.

It was glued under there pretty good , started to pull on it but then got to difficult and then used x acto knife

This looks like a massive improvement. I saw the original PJ at FP in London a few weeks back and wasn't that impressed with the dull out of box look.

Agreed,on top of the dull pj that particular grey paint they've used had a plastic vibe to it.Raf's repaint will be spectacular with that chrome metal coat. Can't wait to see it finished.

Yes a plastic vibe is about right Phil - there wasn't a lot of differentiation between the various parts of the armour and chain mail.

A repaint by 'Sharpnel'.He still has to give it another layer of weathering.Looks very good and I think he chrome-sprayed it aswell. My only gripe would be it doesn't reflect the colour as seen in the movie.

'The Josh' was really thrilled with the original PJ.But then again...is there someone more biased when it comes to LOTR SS collectibles then 'the Josh'?I don't think so.

You can see the helmet should have been wider. The shoulder spikes are also more straight up but in other movie pictures these are similar to the PF.The shoulder plates are moving upwards when he raises his shoulders.

Sharpnel is actually my client Phil and this is my work he are not going with the actual color of the movie , he wants it a bit more weathered but maintaining more of the metal chrome armor look , he sent me this as reference , as you can see the chromed looke to it
