Wonderful pieces Laurent, and wonderful photography - you really managed to bring the metallics out on the Samus statue. :top:
You should try your hand at the photography contest...

Loving the 1/1 endoskull, fantastic piece. The likeness on this hottoys Joker is phenomenal.
Man,HT are incredible when it comes to capturing the actor's likeness.
Say Laurent,I was wondering...has the SS 1/2 scale IM maquette caught your attention?

    Thanks you all.
Yes Hot Toys do a great job, the likeness on their "toys" are really awesome. If only they made some statues...
And for information my endoskull is a battle damage which i've cleaned.
Yes Phil, SS 1/2 Iron Man caught my attention but:
    1) i'm not a very very big fan, not enough to buy an 1/2 scale from Iron Man film
    2) the paint job on recent Iron Man statue (life size bust and the stealth) show that SS has really a problem with painting Iron Man statue. I don't want to buy a 1/2 statue which deteriorates over time...
    3) i find the pose a bit boring compared to the comiquette...
All to say that I would rather spend my money on Cinemaquette than in the IM 1/2 :)

Nice photos Laurent, thanks for sharing images of your wonderful collection. I really do like photos of these HT Batman pieces. :top:
I was intrigued by what you wrote here about the Iron Man 1:2...

It's a very good point to make. To me the Iron Man 1:2 is a little like the SS 1:1 or 1:1 T800 Endo - impressive, but ultimately just a little too lifeless compared to say the CM T800.

Yes, i agree, the 1:1 endo is really boring. Ok it's life size and it's cool but the pose is boring.
Both Iron Man and Iron Spider pose are great, contrariwise.
I think SS don't take risk, an other good example of this findings is the Alien Warrior maquette pose...close to the diorama one.
For this one i don't care since i don't have the diorama...but i understand the complaints from those bought the dio.
On the other side I find that CM do a great job on the pose, especially on the trio Predator/Alien/T-800.
The Predator looks like "hey what the next prey? C'mon"
The T-800 and Alien, from SOME angles, seem to dance...but as you said, they look alive!

It's never easy to give a statue both presence and life. CM went for something very animated for both their Indy and Alien pieces. I'm personally glad they did since both characters needed something to make them feel dynamic. I couldn't imagine owning a 1:3 Alien which is posed along the lines of the new Hollywood Collectibles Group 1:1 statue
