Yay, here we go with Raf! :luck: :laola: :luck:
I was thinking about how to best follow this project and I think I'll see how it's panning out and then eventually turn it into a CBD Review style documentary if Raf wants that, we'll see.

This is the stuff of legend. Pure and simple.
I am loving this project seven ways to Sunday.
    Good luck raf! :luck:
Can you briefly describe how you are going to take a mold of the T800's skull?

i have orderd a silicone putty that you mix a one to one ratio and i will be applying it on the skull , and it dries in 10 min, the other option was to mix silicone and brush it on, which will get every detail , but that takes like 2 or 3 hrs to dry, so im hoping this new silicon putty will do the job if not i will do the brush on, once i get the mold i will pour in some resin and get the skull copy

Looking at the two, it seems there is a very good chance the T800 head will fit inside the T850 head. I just wonder what resistance you will find once you get inside the silicone. Do you envisage actually hollowing the T850's head out?

ok buddies here it the eyeball test, no i did this in like less then 10 minutes so i ended sliciing parts i didnt want but thats ok, if i were to do this with the right size eyes i think about half an hours time would be good maybe even an hour so it would be perfect, i am actually still goint to look for the right size eyes, because these cms would look awsome whendone right, but here you can get an idea of what can be achived,

Yeah this seems to be really problematic. FYI, we've seen a similar eye-mod with an Aragorn CM in the past and the person chose the wrong eye size (and had them already glued in I think) which deformed the piece pretty much.

i will not be hollowing the whole head out i will only do the left side of his face , cutting out only the amount i need to place the side piece should not be much

i was able to find 6mm eyes, and they looked pretty good, so once i get those i will see what i can do, it really all depends on the size of the iris , although the whole eye is 6mm i am hoping that the iris is smaller, but if they painted the iris the same size as on the 8mm well that would work either, but by the looks of the eyes on depp and indy and maybe aragorn, the iris seems to be a bit bigger than on arnold am i right could anybody let me know by comparing them,? like i said if that is to be the case then these 8mm eyes would look perfect, for them

i too will get nervous once i start on the cutting of the face, the socket no problem since it was the one i will mess up but once i get the right eyes and do my other t850 with the eyes i will get nervous cuase there is no tuning back once its cut

I think the eyes are just open a little wider on the other human CM's raf, so it isn't so much the size of the iris, just what you can see of it. The T850 seems to have his eyes closed a little as if concentrating.

For what it's worth, I think you did a grand job on the first video raf. At times t was like watching some kind of strange autopsy, especially at the beginning since the T850 is so life like.
If this video has taught me one thing so far, it is how good those glastic eyes look on the T850. I'd agree with your comment in the video; the 8mm ones didn't look that bad, just a little over sized compared ot the painted one.
Bring on part three I say! As Enz said, I am glued, this beats everything on Television. :tv:

 will do, and i was too thinking if the eyes eventhough size 8mm are a tad bigger (iris) i wonder if i would set it in deeper might work :hmm: i think i will try that and take a pic and see what you guys think i will take the one side only so as to not distract from the other eye

I think the slight bulging of the eye is the main thing you need to conquer raf - so perhaps cutting a tad deeper is the thing to do.
